Installation roller shutter box insulation, 3 parts

With the new three-part roller shutter box insulation system from Schellenberg, up to 55% of heat losses can be saved. Installation is DIY-friendly thanks to the tongue and groove principle of the elements. In addition to lower heating costs, the new insulation system also ensures sound reduction and provides effective protection against drafts and mold growth.
Energy-efficient properties
The new insulation from Schellenberg consists of a ceiling and base plate as well as a central web as a complete plug-in system and can be installed in the roller shutter box without gluing. The use of high-quality Neopor material with a low thermal conductivity group of 032 ensures a high insulating effect. Thanks to its excellent properties, the roller shutter box insulation meets the requirements of the Building Energy Act (GEG 2023). With the material thickness of 17 mm, it is also suitable for narrow roller shutter boxes with an inspection opening from below or from the room side.

Extras for easier installation
The insulation system is available with dimensions of 100 x 28.5 x 28 cm and is suitable for all common box sizes. The insulation parts can be shortened as required or extended in length by an additional set. The all-round adhesive groove and the adhesive strips supplied help to join two insulation sets together easily. For orientation when shortening, line dimension numbers on the insulation as well as the pyramid surface provide support. These pyramids also provide sound reduction.
If the roller shutter is motorized, the center bar provides a cable guide and clamping fixture, which further facilitates installation.
